Services
Acupuncture
Acupuncture aids in regulating mood, decreasing stress and anxiety, alleviating pain and much more. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has been used for millions of years, allowing the body to heal itself with its own energy. TCM treats all ailments from conception to end of life.
Facial Rejuvenation
Facial Rejuvenation, also known as cosmetic acupuncture, is a natural alternative to Botox and fillers to improve skin appearance and overall wellbeing. It uses fine needles to increase circulation and encourage the production of collagen to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and tighten pores.
Fire Cupping
Cupping therapy is a TCM modality that uses negative pressure, or suction, to bring energy and warmth to the area, draw toxins up to the lymphatic system, and increase blood flow to elicit tension release, detoxification and healing. Cupping leaves marks ranging from light pink to dark purple and can last anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks depending on their severity. Rebecca uses the traditional method which utilizes glass cups and fire to create suction.
Want to get a feel for each of our practitioners unique take on this ancient modality? Together, Rebecca, Jenna and Maci are offering a package deal of, either 3 or 5, 30 minute sessions that can be used amongst all three of us. Please call to purchase or for more information!
Moxibustion
Moxibustion is a part of integrative medicine and is often used in addition to acupuncture, cupping, Tai Chi, etc. It is a form of heat therapy that involves burning the dried plant MOXA and leaving it either on or very near the skin surface. This helps promote the flow of and dispel certain pathogens in the body. MOXA is traditionally made from the dried leafy plant mugwort that usually has a pleasant aroma. It can be made into sticks of various sizes or mixed with other herbs to enhance the benefits. Sometimes, practitioners will choose to apply loose moxa with a burner and even to heat the acupuncture needles for additional benefits.
Moxa has been used in traditional ancient Chinese medicine for thousands of years. While its benefits still require a lot more research, moxa has been shown to help fight serious diseases and maladies, from cancer to joint pain.
